The real question is, if these abuses are in fact happening (and have been occurring in the recent past), who is responsible for checking into the issue and determining why it is allowed to continue? The buck (OT or not) stops somewhere. As I understand it, most employees are going without any increases and often paying more toward benefits, so why should some get away with OT abuse?
