That's not quite true. The county has jurisdiction and is is the enforcing agent in this case, not the city, which is what the city told the yoga crowd at a recent city council meeting. There's all these private sections of beach owned by condominiums, though, and if the yoga crowd was to get invited onto private land, it would all be a moot issue. I would think any condo association might want that as an amenity.
